Step 3: Follow up from your meeting.

The final step is following up with both us and your legislators! First, use the report-back form below to let us know how the meeting went, and particularly if there were any questions your legislator had that you could not answer. We will try to get back to you within five business days with answers, or follow up directly with the legislator ourselves in the event that it takes longer.

As soon as you hear back from us, please send a follow-up email that reminds the legislator of anything they committed to (e.g. voting for the bill, sponsoring the bill, sending names of other legislators). Also, answer any questions as you’re able.
